Our story…

TEAM KAREN was formed to honour, remember and celebrate KidSport North Shore's co-founder, KAREN LIDSTER, who passed away in December 2021.  Karen was a fearless and devoted community leader.  She believed in the importance of youth in sport and supported our cause for over 20 years!

She would love this idea of fundraising by getting everyone moving each day!  So let's get active, raise some funds for KidSport North Shore, and have some fun along the way!

We'd love for you to join our team, or you can support us by making a one-time donation!  All funds will go directly to KidSport North Shore!

Description

The skills kids learn through sports are carried with them throughout their lives, but 1 in 3 kids are being left on the sidelines because they don't have the resources to play. KidSport helps remove those financial barriers to participating #SoALLKidsCanPlay. 

Through a confidential application process, KidSport provides funding to kids from families facing financial barriers to help cover the cost of sport registration fees so they can experience the joy of a season of sport.
