The Valley Harvest Marathon is a signature event in the Valley during the Thanksgiving weekend now in its 31st year!
How natural to have a Harvest Marathon during Thanksgiving weekend in the Annapolis Valley of Nova Scotia—the heart of agriculture, apple capital, and winery centre of Atlantic Canada.
The event includes:
- Chip-timed race
- Personalized race bib for adult races (if registered by 5:00 PM on Monday, September 11, 2023)
- Valley Harvest Marathon medal
- Participant shirt
- Stunning valley routes
Please note: strollers, baby joggers, baby backpacks/carriers, and pets are not permitted on the course.
Registration for the Youth Run will open in September!

All prices are subject to 15% HST and an online processing fee.
“No Sweat” Policy
The Valley Harvest Marathon is proud to offer registration deferment of adult races to the following year, in lieu of our no refund policy. A confirmed and paid registration can be cancelled for any reason until 5:00PM on Wednesday, October 4, 2023 and carried forward to the 2024 race year. Refunds are not permitted. Participants who wish to take advantage of the No Sweat Policy will be required to pay a fee of $17.50 +HST upon registering the next year.

The Valley Harvest Marathon also offers the option to transfer a race registration to another distance or participant. All transfers are subject to a $1.95 +HST and processing fee.
Transfers can be completed until 5:00PM on Monday, September 11, 2023. After the deadline you can transfer your race registration to another distance or participant at Kit Pick Up for a fee of $10 +HST and processing.

Virtual Run - Race Kit Pick Up Closed
A virtual run can be completed from any location you choose—you can run, jog, or walk on the road, on the trail, or on the track. Available distances are 5KM, 10KM, Half Marathon, Full Marathon, and Ultra Marathon (50KM). Your race kit, including your medal, will be available for pick up during Kit Pick Up times - TBD. After you have completed your run and uploaded your time, you will receive your digital Finisher Certificate!

Virtual Run - Race Kit Mailed Closed
A virtual run can be completed from any location you choose—you can run, jog, or walk on the road, on the trail, or on the track.
