In loving memory of Sam O'Neill 
May 1, 1988 - April 4, 2023

Samantha "Sam" Meredith O'Neill passed away after heroically facing the challenges of cervical cancer. During this time, Sam remained true to herself, advocating her every right, and choosing her fate admirably and with tremendous courage. 

In her short life, Sam had many accomplishments. She was an 11-time marathon runner, an animal rights activist, a writer, a traveler, an adventurer and an incredible daughter, sister, and great friend to so many. 

The Stay Gold team is running and/or walking the Toronto Waterfront Marathon, Half Marathon or 5k in honour of the amazing daughter, sister & friend Sam, raising money for the Canadian Cancer Society with proceeds going toward cervical cancer research. 

If you can, please support the Stay Gold team in our efforts to raise funds for cervical cancer research in memory of the passionate runner and great friend, Sam!
