Our story…
Earlier this year, our friend Austin Sun passed away after a three-year battle with cancer. In the face of immense pain and countless treatments, Austin remained a source of light to those around him, never once complaining.
The diligence and dedication he displayed throughout his life became all the more evident after his diagnosis. Not only did he complete his degree and pursue his dream career as an engineer, he devoted himself to selfless endeavours, fundraising nearly $2000 for the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation over his 22nd and 23rd birthday.
We have no doubt he'd want to do the same for his 24th birthday, which we would've celebrated at the end of this month. Although he's not physically present for this year's fundraising campaign, he had a profound impact on all those around him, empowering us to carry on his mission.
He brought light to so many, so we're running for Sun.
