Founded in 1988, Fife House's mission is to provide secure affordable housing and support services to people and families living with HIV/AIDs, and to achieve social change through research and advocacy that addresses systemic oppression. We strive to empower individuals living with HIV/AIDS to not only survive, but to thrive in all aspects of their lives, and to contribute towards a vibrant, healthy and inclusive society.

Each year, Fife House provides supportive housing for approximately 300 individuals, and serves over 300 additional clients through our outreach program for individuals who are unhoused/experiencing houselessness.

Funds raised via the Toronto Waterfront Marathon - Charity Challenge will enable Fife House to provide critical housing supports and services for our residents and clients, such as prepared meals and grocery hampers to alleviate hunger and food insecurity; and social and recreational activities to promote mental and emotional well-being, connections to peers and integration with the community.
