It's time to lace up those running shoes and hit the pavement for The Journey 5K & Family Fun Run and Walk! This electrifying event, dedicated to the late Audrey L. Ward, will rock your world as we raise the roof on women's spiritual, emotional, physical, and financial wellness. Whether you're sprinting, jogging, or simply cheering from the sidelines, this adrenaline-charged extravaganza is your golden ticket to a celebration of women's empowerment!

Mark your calendars because the action-packed Journey 5K is blasting off on Saturday, October 7, 2023 at the epic Frank Liske Park in Concord, NC. The starting gun fires at 8 am sharp, unleashing a tidal wave of passion and purpose! By strutting your stuff in The Journey 5K, you're not just conquering personal fitness goals; you're unleashing a whirlwind of resources that will revolutionize women's spiritual, emotional, physical, and financial well-being nationwide!

A portion of the proceeds raised will be donated to Levine Cancer Institute and Sisters in Partnership (a 501c3 that supports Breast cancer survivors and thrivers). All other funds will go toward women's wellness programming in The Journey Collective Inc.

We believe that empowered women who pursue their wellness dreams become unstoppable forces of change, transforming homes and communities in their wake! Rally the troops and assemble your crew of friends, neighbors, and coworkers. It's time to make some serious noise and raise the roof on women's wellness by taking part in the electrifying phenomenon known as The Journey 5K!

Time: Packet Pickup 9:00am, Race Starts 10:00am

Saturday, October 7th: RACE DAY!

9:00am- Race Packet Pickup, Vendor Expo & Wellness Fair

9:45am- Pre-Race Welcome & Group Stretching

10:00am: Race beings

11:30am: Post Race Awards Ceremony, Vendor Expo & Entertainment

Frank Liske Park is a beautiful location with lots of family fun activities, including miniature golfing, paddle boating, and kayaking. Consider hanging out after the race for family-friendly activities for the whole family!

NOTE: There are NO refunds for this race. Race organizers reserve the right to modify, change, cancel, or reschedule the race and are not accountable if it is deemed necessary for the safety and comfort of participants, volunteers, or staff.

Note: We can only guarantee t-shirts for participants who register by September 15th.

Run/Walk the 5K journey, or choose a shorter 1 Mile route. Both distances are timed and will Start at the same place and time.

If you can't join us in person, you can still join us in spirit! Run/Walk your 5K on your own and submit your results to us virtually so you can still join in the fun! We will mail your shirt to you after the race!

If you are no longer able to attend the event you can transfer to the Virtual event by contacting the event organizers.
Event organizers reserve the right to cancel or modify the event due to unfavorable conditions.
