iDaph Events and iDream Athletes Foundation are striving to reignite triathlon locally in our WNC community and region. Triathlon is a unique blend of the sports of swimming, biking and running all in one event. The journey to train for and race at a triathlon is an incredible time, energy and monetary commitment. Completing a triathlon is a major life milestone and an accomplishment that is unique and honorable. Local triathlons and communities have been on the decline for the past several years. We believe that triathlon deserves a community. We are here to support the development of a Tri Local Community. So we are....

Before you sign up for the Hendersonville Triathlon... It’s easy to sign up for BOTH the Hendersonville Triathlon and Asheville Triathlon (the Tri Local Duo Series) at the same time. Save some $$, complete the races in person or virtually (or a mix of both), be part of the Tri Local community and get a super cool medal (shown below) upon completion to commemorate your milestone.
About the Hendersonville Triathlon:
The ONLY sprint triathlon in Hendersonville, North Carolina is back again for it's fourth year! A regional favorite race - the Hendersonville Triathlon is set for Saturday, June 17, 2023 in Hendersonville, NC.
The race takes place at Patton Park in Hendersonville, NC. Patton Pool is operated by the YMCA of WNC in Hendersonville and Patton Park is operated by the City of Hendersonville. The event consists of a 400m pool swim, a 12.5 mile bike and a 5k run! The bike and run will use portions of the Oklawaha Greenway.

Register before December 11th at midnight and receive a custom, short sleeve, Hendersonville Triathlon shirt FREE with your registration!
Beginning December 12th, you can add the shirt to your registration for $10. Register by May 21st at midnight to guarantee your size! After that date, shirts will only be available in limited sizes and quantities.
If you'd prefer to have your things ahead of time, you MUST purchase the pre-event shipping option for $10 during registration or from the Race Store. The deadline to select this option will be June 4th at midnight. Packets will be shipped approximately two weeks prior to the event.

TRI LOCAL DUO Challenge and Tri Local Community

iDaph Events has teamed up with iDream Athletes Foundation and other local, multi-sport community leaders to create and bring to you the Tri Local Community. We will be offering triathlon clinics, group training opportunities, a community to find training partners, pre-race course re-cons, transition zone coaching and of course two amazing, local triathlon events.
HOW TO JOIN:
To be eligible to attend the offerings and to participate in the Tri Local Community happenings, participants must sign up for the new TRI LOCAL DUO Series by registering for BOTH the 2023 Hendersonville Triathlon and the 2023 Asheville Triathlon. After you register for both events, you are automatically entered into the BRAND NEW TRI LOCAL DUO Challenge.
Participate either virtually or in-person (or a combo of both.) We are offering this option for those of you that may have other events/vacations/family happenings on the race dates that might prevent you from attending in person but you want to be part of the new series and the community! If you participate virtually, you will race the distances wherever and whenever you want to and submit your results online.
All participants that are in the TRI LOCAL DUO Series will have exclusive access to all the fun and informative offerings coming up this winter/spring/summer. Due to limited resources and availability, ONLY participants that are registered for both of the 2023 Tri Local races are eligible to be part of the Tri Local Community and its offerings.
At the Asheville Triathlon on July 16th, participants that have completed both races will get a super cool and unique Tri Local Duo medal to commemorate their experience.
The deadline to sign up for both races to be part of the TRI LOCAL DUO Challenge is THURSDAY, JUNE 1st at MIDNIGHT!
