Our story…
A Gift of Life. Amazing advances in medical technology such as living organ donation transplants has opened the door to not only extending the years in one's life, but improving the quality of life for recipients. Thanks to UHN for these medical advances and to Canadian Blood Services for cross matching donors and recipients. Both of us have had successful personal experiences with these organizations. Peter as a recipient of an anonymous donor and Ramona as a donor to an anonymous recipient. We are very happy to be able to participate together in this year's 5K fundraising run/walk for UHN's Living Organ Donation services to help pay our good fortune forward to others in need.
Description
We are participating in the Constantine Yorkville Run to raise funds for UHN Foundation, in support of the Centre for Living Organ Donation at UHN's Ajmera Transplant Centre. With your help, we can reach our fundraising goal and make a difference. Thank you in advance for your donation and support.
