Join us for the Second Annual Bronte Creek 5K/10K! Run or walk 5KM or 10KM in beautiful Bronte Creek Park. This year's race will also include a 1K dog walk to kick off the Oakville and Milton Humane Society's Mission Pawsible Campaign! Participate in the race in the morning and spend the rest of the day enjoying the park.

This event will be raising funds for the Oakville and Milton Humane Society. Run or walk in this race and help us raise funds for this important cause. All proceeds from the Mission Pawsible 1K event will be directed towards the OMHS. Participants can register for both the 1K event as well as the 5K/10K.
Registration for the 1K event is free, you will be asked to make a $25 donation to OMHS to participate in the 1K event.

Event Details
All race participants will be required to pay a park entrance fee on the day of the race. Visitors must have an exact payment of $18 CASH (per car) when they arrive at the gate. This is the parks policy, park entry is not included with the race. To help limit costs, we encourage participants to car pool. The entry fee includes use of the park for the day so you can enjoy the parks amenities after the run/walk. To help alleviate the cost of the park entry fee we have reduced the race registration fees.
The park gates open at 8:00AM. Please give yourself lots of time to get into the park before the race starts, the front gate can process 60-90 cars per hour. Please enter the park at the Day use area - 1219 Burloak Drive, Oakville. We will be set up at the Breckon Shelter inside the park. Click here to view the PARK MAP.

The Mission Pawsible 1K Run/Walk will start at 10:30AM
The 5KM and 10KM race will start at 10:50AM
Race Location/Parking:
The race will start and end at the Breckon Shelter. There is parking available directly on site at the Breckon Shelter at parking lot F. Please follow park signs when entering the park. Visitors must have an exact payment of $18 CASH (per car), this fee is NOT included with the race entry fee.

Timing services will be provided by Speed River Timing, you can view your results on speedrivertiming.com once you cross the finish line.

Race Route
The race route will take you through the beautiful trails of Bronte Creek Provincial Park. The 5KM race will complete one loop of the park and the 10KM race will complete two loops of the park. There will be two water stations along the 5KM loop. The race will start and end at the Breckon Shelter inside the day use area.

The Virtual Bronte Creek race can be completed anytime between May 10th and June 10th
How to track your run/walk and record your results using the RunkeeperTM app:
1. From your mobile device, go to your Race Roster dashboard for this event HERE
2. Click on the “Connect to my app” button, where you will be asked to confirm your name within the app (confirm your name and the event will be added to your app)
3. Revisit the Runkeeper™ app when you are ready to participate. From your start screen, click the flag symbol (bottom right) and select the race to start recording.
4. Complete your distance and save the activity. Your results will be automatically posted to the Race Roster leaderboard HERE
5. From the results page, click on your name to see your finisher summary

Kerr Street Mission is a warm and welcoming charity that is focused on caring for low-income residents and at-risk kids. Staff, volunteers, and partners work together to provide care and a community of support that will help those in need improve their current and future well-being.
The Recovery Project Foundation advocates for mental health by helping to defray medical expenses for treatments of eating disorders, alongside other mental illnesses, to individuals who have a demonstrated need for financial assistance, i.e., low income evidenced by tax returns or being on government assistance, in Canada. Funding will be available for treatments recognized by Health Canada and administered by licensed medical practitioners at eating disorder treatment centres in Canada.

Run or walk for the Mission Pawsible 1K for the Oakville and Milton Humane Society. Your dog is welcome to participate in this event with you. You can participate in both the 1K event as well as the 5/10K! In order to register for this event, we ask the you provide a minimum donation of $25 to the Oakville and Milton Humane Society. You will be asked to make the donation during the registration process. You can also set up a fundraising page to continue to raise funds up until race day. All participants of this event will receive a finisher medal. The 1K event is not chipped timed.
