The Scorching Bay Challenge is a new addition to the open water events calendar in the Capital. The event joins the established 'Wellington Harbour Challenge' as Swimming Wellington runs 'The Double Challenge', for those keen to take both events on over the summer months.
The event will be a beach start and will see the 1.25km, 2.5km and 5km races take place, plus an additional beginner's distance of 500m. The beach start will showcase the best of the Miramar peninsula, with a strong brew at Scorcharama awaiting those who complete the Challenge. A fun morning out for all the family!
