Celebrate this Independence Day by supporting the Elk Grove Run 4 Hunger. This July 4th Run or Walk a 5K or 10K in support of Elk Grove Food Bank Services. 2023 will mark the 18th year of this important fundraiser.
Benefiting Elk Grove Food Bank Services
Join us for the 18th Annual Run 4 Hunger event. Proceeds from the Elk Grove Run 4 Hunger 5K/10K benefits the Elk Grove Food Bank Services (EGFBS). This year participants in the 5K/10K will receive a medal, shirt, and commemorative bib.
Packet Pickup
Monday, July 3
Location: Fleet Feet Elk Grove, 7460 Elk Grove Blvd #120
Time: 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Tuesday, July 4
Location: District56, 9701 Big Horn Blvd. Parking is available off of the Big Horn Blvd. entrance to the Aquatic Center. Follow the parking signs on race morning.
Race Day Schedule
- 7:00 a.m. - Packet pick-up opens District56 (9701 Big Horn Blvd.)
- 8:05 a.m. - Kid’s Fun Run - 1/4 mile (6 and under) and 1/2 mile (7 to 10)
- 8:25 a.m. - 10K starts
- 8:25 a.m. - 5K starts

- Race shirts for all 5K/10K participants (supplies limited)
- Celebratory custom finisher medals for all 5K/10K participants

More of Elk Grove’s residents are facing food insecurity due to business and school closures and job disruptions. Elk Grove’s seniors need more help than ever before.
