LOCATION: Bayou Segnette State Park, 7777 Westbank Expressway, Westwego, La. 70094

( Entrance is at intersection of Westbank Expressway and DRAKE Avenue ) * Entrance is NOT at Segnette Blvd.

Race site inside park is at the Wave Pool complex. Plenty of Free parking at the large Wave Pool parking lot

* Please observe posted speed limits while inside the park.

TIME:

7:00 am - Race Day Registration and Packet Pickup opens on site

8:00 am - Start of Kid's 1/2 Mile

8:15 am - Start of 5K Run Walk and 10K Run/Walk

Entry fees:

5K Open Registration: $25.00 by December 10th, $30.00 by March 2nd, $35.00 day of race

5K Youth/Senior Registration: $25.00 by March 2nd, $30.00 day of race

10K Open Registration: $30.00 by December 10th, $40.00 by March 2nd, $45.00 day of race

10K Youth / Senior Registration: $30.00 by March 2nd, $35.00 day of race

( *Ages 17-under or 65-over, proof of age may be required at packet pickup )

Kid's 1/2 Mile Dash: $20.00 by March 2nd ( age 14-under, proof of age may be required )

ONLINE Registration will close at 1:30 pm on Thursday, March 2nd

Registration will still be available at the pre-race day packet pickup event and on the day of race ( see details below )

Pre-Race Day packet pickup: * Packets available if registered by Noon, Feb 27th * If registered after this date and time packet will be available on day of race at race site - see below

AWARDS: *Awards presented on day of race at race site. Awards are not mailed

AWARD DIVISIONS:

10K: 1st Overall Open and Masters Divsion Male and Female. 1st & 2nd in Age Groups: 19-under, 20-29, 30-39,40-49,50-59 60-69 70-79, 80-over

5K: 1st Overall Open and Masters Division Male and Female. 1st & 2nd in Age Groups: 14-under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80-over

1/2 Mile: Finisher medallions presented to all finishers age 17 and under. Awards presented to 1st, 2nd place male and female ages 6-under, 7-9, 10-12, 13-15.

Race Walkers 5K & 10K: 1st, 2nd, 3rd Overall male and female * If competing in the official race walker division please check in after bib pickup at the Race Walker scoring eligibility table.

CHIP TIMED EVENT: The race number bib issued to each entrant has a timing chip attached to the back side of. Please do not remove or bend. Please wear the race number bib on FRONT only visible to race officials. There are separate race number bibs issued for the 5K and for the 10K. Please make sure you receive and are wearing the correct bib. * IF picking up bibs for others are packet pickup please check the NAME LABEL on back of each bib to distribute the correct bib assigned.

Please stop by the Canopy tents / tables staffed by Fleet Feet-Metairie who will be distributing some of the refreshments denoted above and other snacks.
