Description

1 April 2024 marks 100 years of service for the Royal Canadian Air Force as an independent military element. This Centennial milestone places the RCAF in a unique position to celebrate with Canadians, fuel internal and external support and pride in the organization, and leave an enduring legacy that propels the institution forward into its next century of service.

The 100th anniversary of the RCAF is an extraordinary opportunity to reflect upon our global contributions to national security, international peace and stability.  With this in mind, the RCAF will curate a national campaign that honours and celebrates our history and heritage, while inspiring future generations of Canadians.

The Royal Canadian Air Force Centennial Fund has been established to this national campaign as well as to provide support to RCAF families. In addition to celebrating our rich history and heritage, the RCAF Centennial seeks engage Canada’s youth in pursuing careers in aviation, space and STEM. In collaboration with various community partners, significant efforts will be undertaken to showcase our history and heritage while enriching the lives of current and aspiring aviators and their families. Your support and participation in the inaugural National RCAF Run will help progress these efforts.
