Thank you for visiting our fundraising page for the Go Jen Go 5K! Go Jen Go is a local Charlotte foundation that provides financial assistance to Breast Cancer patients.
Many of you know I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer (Stage 0 Ductal Carcinoma In Situ) this past June. I've been so fortunate to have support from my family and friends through a bilateral mastectomy and reconstruction, completed in December. No further treatments are necessary and I'm so thankful to move past it.
Now I want to help those coming next - and it's a lot of people - 1 in 8 American women will be diagnosed with Breast Cancer in their lifetime. Many of them will need help! Cancer is expensive and on top of all of the other stress that comes with a diagnosis, the financial impact could be devastating.
