My Story…
I have participated and/or captained a team in this event ever since we completed the inaugural Ground Zero to Cape Cod (275+ miles) run.
After 9 years in the Army (active duty, NG, and Desert Storm), I retired after 29 years in Law Enforcement, and have spent the last 6 years as the Veterans Group Facilitator for Heroes In Transition.
The Ruck4HIT event and HIT’s programs are near and dear to my heart. I’ve not only facilitated many events, but I’ve also taken part, so I’ve seen and felt the difference the programs have made. Thanks to the funds raised, the programs offered are completely FREE for our Veterans and Military Families.
