Run for the Roses is a Tradition in La Grange Park for over 25 years! We are happy to bring it back this year on May 14th.

The La Grange Park Chamber of Commerce will be running the Race and will be donating half of the proceeds to a local Non-for-Profit Interfaith Community Partners!

Interfaith Community Partners (ICP) is a non-profit organization whose mission is to maximize the independence and well-being of older adults by enabling connections with others in their community. ICP provides older adults with safe, accompanied transportation to medical appointments, therapies and life-enhancing errands including the grocery store, bank, hairdresser and church. We also provide home visits and well-being phone calls to check in on our clients, deliver their library materials, and brighten their days through our Petal Pusher flower program and by mailing birthday and holiday cards. Our generous donors and amazing network of volunteers allow us to provide these services at no cost to the grateful older adults ICP serves.

Race Information

Race will begin promptly at 8:00a.m.

Race Timing
We use a disposable chip timing tag that runners receive at packet pick up on their race bibs. It is lightweight and remains attached to the race bib.

Runners MUST wear their race bibs on the front of their clothing in order to be timed accurately. The bib cannot be covered, holding it in your hand or putting it in your pocket will NOT read the chip. Do not bend the chip. Smart watches such as Garmin and smart phones can interfere with the timing chip frequency. Please do not adjust your watch or phone as you cross the finish line and come through the chute. Disputes for times on Smart watches and smart phones will not be taken into consideration.
