Jasmine

Jasmine is dedicated to improving the lives of people with serious illnesses through medical, emotional, and spiritual support. We are the only dedicated provider of palliative and hospice care in the Cayman Islands. Our services are free for anyone in need of support, regardless of who you are or where you come from. As a non-profit organisation, we rely on the generosity of the community to keep our services running. Approximately 90% of our funding comes from donations. 

This year, we are aiming to raise CI$35,000 so that we can buy a new car for our clinical team. It is extremely important that our nurses can get around the island, as most of the care that we provide is in people’s homes. Our current car is twelve years old and becoming increasingly unreliable, and we need a method of transport that ensures we can respond quickly to emergencies, transport equipment and supplies, and get around safely in inclement weather. A new car will ensure we can continue delivering round-the-clock, patient-centered care to everyone we support.
