GREAT FUTURES START HERE
For more than 100 years, Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Maine has provided youth development programs for young people, especially those who need them most. Each BGCSM Clubhouse is a safe places to learn, have fun and develop skills and interests that last a lifetime.
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Maine provide summer and after-school programs Monday through Friday to the nearly 3,000 members ages 6-18 who attend the Clubs each year. These Clubs provide stable, inclusive spaces for children and teens to find a sense of belonging, explore their creative abilities, practice community responsibility, and develop meaningful relationships with peers and adults.
Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Maine include nine Club locations serving the Southern Maine communities of Portland, Riverton, Sagamore, South Portland, Auburn and Lewiston and programs in King Middle School, Biddeford Middle School and Brick Hill. Each club provides safe and affordable space to youth. The Clubs are fun, well-equipped facilities designed to meet the needs and interests of today’s youth and teens for after school and summer programs. In addition to our programs, members are given healthy snacks and meals every day they attend.
