Springmaid Splash

Trail Race ● Music ● Camping

2023 Springmaid Splash 5K and 10K

Run, camp and jam at Springmaid Mountain! The 5K and 10K trail races will amble through Springmaid Mountain’s 400-acre property with splashes through the North Toe River. After the race, stick around for bluegrass mountain music and optional overnight stays at the campground or cabins.

Event Schedule

Friday, August 4

  • 3-8p: Field camping open and early packet pick up
    • Please note field camping is for tents, small vans and tear drop trailers. Anything larger must rent a campsite. Use promo code Race2023 for 20% off site rentals.

Saturday, August 5

  • 7a: Parking opens
  • 7-8:30a: Day of packet pick up
  • 8:30a: All runners must be on site
  • 8:45a: 10k start
  • 9a: 5k start
  • 10a-12p: Food available
  • 10a-12p: Band
  • 10:30a: Award ceremony
  • 12p onwards: Enjoy the Springmaid Mountain Property!

Sunday, August 6

  • All field camping must be out by 11a

Refunds & Weather Policy

Race registration is non-refundable. More than two weeks out you may transfer your race registration to another competitor or to another Greenway race of equal or lesser value. All transfers are at the discretion of the Race Director.

Our events run rain or shine unless there is severe weather. While we never want to cancel a race, in situations such as tornado warnings, thunderstorms, heavy and persistent rain etc., we will need to cancel. Should we cancel you will be notified via social media, our website, and email. Should we cancel there will be no refunds as that money has already been put toward the race.
