Earlier this year the Capitola Wharf sustained significant damage during the winter storms. The wharf will be undergoing repairs in October which will impact our access to the beach area where we hold the race start, therefore we will not be holding the in-person event in 2023. The in-person event will return in 2024.
WHERE TO RECORD YOUR VIRTUAL RESULTS
The leaderboards will be hosted on the virtual platform Sodisp. Participants will have access to ALL of the leaderboards and can complete as many of the distance options as they like. PLEASE NOTE: You will be emailed instructions to login / register to the event on Sodisp as well as your personalized verification code about a week prior to the event. Please check your junk/spam email folders around that time for this important email as well as shipping email updates.
MERMAID "SPLASH BACK" DESIGNS:
The Virtual Tri & Du is featuring your favorite Mermaid "SPLASH BACK" designs! You'll get to pick from one of five different shirt, medal and necklace designs. Participants can also opt out of the swag items during the registration process and reduce your entry fee.
Customize your SWAG (Save up to $20): Registration includes a race shirt, finisher medal & necklace. If you don't want all the swag you can remove items during registration. Each item will reduce your entry fee by the following amount:
No Shirt: Save $10
No Medal: Save $5
No Necklace: Save $5
