Eltham Fun Run and Walk 2023

Pre-Race

  • Bag Drop Off/Collection – Will be situated at Eltham Leisure Centre Childcare room from 7:30am ( We do not recommend valuables being stored in bags ; we do not accept responsibility for lost items)
  • Collect Bib or Register for event if you have not done previously
  • Withers Way ( next to Eltham High) and Bell Street will temporarily closed , so please plan ahead.
  • Limited Parking – in and around the leisure centre
  • Dogs are welcome on the track but must be on a leash.
  • All children must be supervised by an adult guardian, children under the age of 5 years do not need to pay a registration fee for the event.
  • Prams are permitted, for safety reasons please ensure you start at the back.
  • St Johns Ambulance will be providing First Aid and will be located at the Eltham Leisure Centre
  • Coffee Van and Food Trucks

Event Start Times

8:15am – Warm up

8:30am – 10km run starts.

8:35am – 5km run starts.

8:40am – 5km walk starts (Could 5km walkers please start from the rear of the pack to minimise congestion at the start line)


During the Race

  • Tomato Timing are providing all timing results, please ensure you were your Race Bib on the day.
  • We will have a dedicated group of volunteers throughout the course keep an eye out for our hi vis vests.

Water Stations

Are located in 3 areas:

  1. Eltham Leisure Centre (start and finish of race)
  2. Next to the entrance of Eltham Lower Park ( 5km and 10km runners)
  3. Beginning of the loop in Westerfolds Park (10km track only)

After the Race

  • Free Sausage Sizzle (Eltham Rotary)
  • Ninja Warrior Course (Proactivity)
  • Twisted Temptations (Food Van)
  • Harrington Coffee (Food Van)
  • Eltham Leisure Centre Tours


Medal Presentations for the following categories approximately 30 minutes after last competitor finishes.

  • 5km Run – Gold, Silver, Bronze for each category.
  • Under 18 Male
  • Under 18 Female
  • 18-55 Male
  • 18-55 Female
  • 55+ Male
  • 55+ Female


  • 10km Run- Gold Silver, Bronze for each category.
  • Under 18 Male
  • Under 18 Female
