Tour de Wyoming 2023

The 2023 Tour de Wyoming gathers in Buffalo, Wyoming on July 15.
On Day 1 we head first northeast, taking a turn at the small community of Ucross, which is more of an artist's retreat than a town, and then parallelling Piney Creek to the town of Sheridan.
Day 2 we explore the foothills of the Bighorn Mountains and a portion of the Powder River Basin, eventually making it to the small and lovely town of Dayton.
On Day 3, we climb the mountain, rising from an elevation of 4,000 feet in Dayton to Granite Pass at an elevation of 9,033 feet. We descend slightly to end the day at Antelope Butte Ski Area.
For Day 4 we head off the mountain, first to the town of Greybull, and from there we explore a portion of the Bighorn Basin along the Greybull River. We end the night at the fairgrounds in the small town of Basin.
On Day 5, we head south and then east, along the Nowater River to the town of Ten Sleep. We pedal through the town and then climb the lovely Ten Sleep Canyon to spend the night at the edge of Meadowlark Lake, at the Meadowlark Ski Area.
Our final day, Day 6, first climbs to Powder River Pass at an elevation of 9,666 feet, before descending to return to Buffalo. That descent is interupted occassionally by a few significant climbs, just to keep things challenging.
