Welcome to the Beaver Flat 50, a race that will leave you begging for less. Our team at Prairie Sky Running Company is pleased to bring you a course that will challenge your assumptions about running on the prairies. The prairies are flat but this is #anythingbutflat. The Beaver Flat 50 is a hilly hard-as-hell trail run at Saskatchewan Landing Provincial Park, SK with over 2300 meters of vertical gain across 50 kilometers. That’s almost 8000 feet of total climb. It’s a tough get-your-feet-wet, wreck-your-shins, and roll-your-ankle kind of run. You’re going to love it, hate it, and love it some more. Guaranteed.

General Registration

Refund Breakdown
- Full refunds available from January 15, 2023 - April 30, 2023 (less the processing fee).
- 50% refund available from May 1, 2023 - June 30, 2023. If COVID refund policy is activated, you will not receive an additional refund if you cancelled during this time period and already received a 50% refund.
- Absolutely no refunds from July 1, 2023 - September 16, 2023 (unless the COVID refund policy is activated).
- You can transfer between distances (e.g. from 50km to 20km) from January 15, 2023 - September 1, 2023 AS LONG AS THE EVENT IS NOT FULL.
- You can transfer your bib to another runner, but you must do it through Race Roster. We don't allow a personal transfer of bib because we need racer contact information and we need people to complete the waiver for insurance purposes. You can transfer your bib from January 15, 2023 - September 1, 2023.
Covid Refund Policy
If the Covid-19 Pandemic requires us to cancel the race, you will have the following options:
- Receive a full deferral of fees and value of pre-ordered items. This will be credited to the 2024 event, but not to future events beyond the one-year deferral. You must use your credit in 2024.
- Receive a 60% refund on your registration fee and 100% refund on pre-ordered items.
- You can donate some or all of your 2023 fees to the race. This money will be used to make trail work days more awesomer.
Important Information
- Runners ages 16 and under that wish to participate in the Beaver Flat 50 or Dam Hard 20 must do so with a parent or guardian chaperone who must also be a registered participant of the same distance. Failure to abide by this policy will result in you not being permitted to participate in the event in the future.
- We are not managing a waitlist. If spots open up in a sold-out event, these spots will become available on a first come, first serve basis.
- No deferrals. If you cannot make the 2023 race, your registration cannot be deferred to 2024 (unless the Covid Refund Policy is activated).
- 45+ Master's division.
Please note: event organizers reserve the right to cancel the Beaver Flat 50 at any time for any reason, including inclement weather and pandemics. But we'll do everything in our power to run the event before cancellation is considered.

Preparation: pour 1/2 oz (1 part) Dry vermouth, 3 oz (6 parts) Gin into mixing glass with ice cubes. Stir well. Strain in chilled martini cocktail glass. Squeeze oil from lemon peel onto the drink, or garnish with olive.

Preparation: Fill a highball glass with ice. In the order listed, pour in cola, coffee liqueur, vodka, then milk. Stir briefly and top with a maraschino cherry.

Preparation: In a highball glass gently muddle the mint, sugar and water. Fill the glass with cracked ice, add Bourbon and stir well until the glass is well frosted. Garnish with a mint sprig.
