We are excited to see everyone!! The second annual Fiddle50 is going to be a little big bigger than last year with double the fun!
As there aren't that many of you, we decided to count laps manually so we will have volunteers checking off your laps off based on your bib number so please make sure it's visible.
Parking is free, please follow signage and park within pylon area.
Relay Teams - your runners will be required to fill out a registration form to collect personal data and emergency contact info as well to sign the waiver at bib pickup.
Cup-Free – It’s looking like it’s going to be a warm day. As we are doing our part for the environment, all of our events are now cup-less. Please bring your own reusable cup/vessel (with your name on it) as you can leave it on the aid station table and fill it up as needed. We will have a water and Skratch electrolytes on hand. Our GottaRunRacing 250ml silicone flask will be available for sale at bib pickup - $15 cash.
Aid Station - we will have typical aid station food like fruit, sweet and salty snacks, pb&j sandwiches etc. If you have a specific dietary need, please bring what you need and we can have it ready for you.
Alcohol - is not permitted on Town of Shelburne property.
Shelter - feel free to bring a shelter if you like. There is lots of grass space right beside the track that you can set up a chair, tent etc. We will have room under our tent too if you don't have one. If you are bringing a tent, please check in with Jodi or Norman to direct you to the best spot to set up.
Many thanks to our community sponsors, including Towne Fitness, Crewson Insurance, Mono Centre Brewing, and Ice River for their support!
Lastly, please take a moment to thank our awesome volunteers when you see them because without them, there is no race!
See you on race day!
Jodi & Norman

THE COURSE
It's a 1 kilometre square loop and it is pretty darn flat! In fact, we are going to go out on a limb and say it is Canada's flattest 100M! You will change direction every hour so you don't get dizzy! The surface is similar to a rail trail, hard-packed dirt.
The facility has indoor washrooms and showers.
We have access to a full service kitchen so our aid station will be stocked!
There is a covered shelter that can be used for sun, harsh weather or just when you need a break.
Lots of space to park on a grassy field.
SWAG
Each finisher will receive our custom fiddle medal as well as a logo'd swag item! Swag details coming soon.
Each participant will also receive a coupon valid for one free 11oz pint of beer from Mono Centre Brewing Co. that can be redeemed at the brewery in Mono up to October 15th, 2023.
RELAY TEAMS
100K Relay (100 loops total) - team can consist of 4 to 6 runners. **
How you divide up the loops is up to you but each runner must complete a full loop before switching out in area marked for transition.
Runners must wear the chipped bib in order for loops to count; therefore, you will need to remember to transfer it from runner to runner.
All team members will receive a finisher medal and swag item.
Come up with a fun name for your team, we encourage tongue-twisters that will mess up our announcer!
If you have a Corporate Sponsor for your team, send us their logo and we'll acknowledge it on our website and on race day (hint: get them to cover your race fees!)
Only the team captain needs to register, we will contact the captain for all runners' details leading up to race day.
**Relays require a minimum of 5 teams registered no later than April 30th. We will contact the captain to advise if the relay is cancelled, so be sure to register early to ensure we can move forward!

We will offer an array of typical salty and sweet snacks, electrolytes, water, ice, hot soup (after dark), etc. If you have any allergies or dietary restrictions, we suggest you bring your own to be safe.

COMMUNITY PARTNER
We have partnered with the good folks at the Shepherd's Cupboard in Shelburne. Their vision is that every person in Shelburne would have access to healthy food and no one would go hungry. If you'd like to help them out, you can donate funds during registration and/or send out a link to your family and friends to donate on behalf of your run. Receipts for donations of $25 or higher can be requested, and will be issued by Compass Church.
