For participating in The 2023 ASICS Falmouth Road Race

OUR FINISH LINE SAYS ALS DONE!

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.  For many of you this is not the first time you have supported me and my family along with ALS One in the fight to end ALS.

My family joined this community of warriors in the summer of 2021 when my mom, our Grannie, was diagnosed with ALS.  Thus began our journey - navigating, learning, losing, winning, loving, and finding the joy in each other and all that we could share together.

It is difficult to "fight" ALS.  There are minimal treatments.

My darling mom did not complain one time during this journey.  She maintained, as I have, that she is the luckiest.  I will never change this sentiment.  I am the luckiest person in the world for having my mom.  In every way that I am okay through this experience, is a testament to being made by this amazing human.  I will honor her all the days of my life.

Please know that every message, email, and donation notification has filled our hearts.  Absolutely no gesture is too small.  This is a small effort in a large battle, but I do believe we can make a difference.  On behalf of my whole family, thank you from the bottom of our broken hearts for loving us, supporting us, and being here along the way.  We are the luckiest.

Description

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page for the 51st running of the Falmouth Road Race! This prestigious event takes place in-person on August 20, 2023 along the coastline streets of beautiful Falmouth, MA!  At-home runners will complete 7 miles in any way of their choosing during the week of August 12-19, 2023.

Your support means the world to me and to all of us and will help to advance critical research at MGH, UMass Medical School, and ALS TDI, while providing essential equipment such as lifts, ramps, wheelchairs and assistive technology devices to individuals currently living with ALS via our care team at Compassionate Care ALS - all incredible partners that make up ALS ONE.

Your  donation is fully tax-deductible, as ALS ONE is a 501c3 non-profit organization (EIN #47-4984263).
