Support CCALS!
This August I am running my first Falmouth Road Race! I am running to raise money for Compassionate Care ALS; a nonprofit organization with a mission to support people diagnosed with ALS, their families, healthcare providers, and communities as they navigate the complexities, both physical and emotional, associated with the disease.
CCALS provided services to my Uncle John and his family as he battled this terrible disease. As many of you know, my Uncle John was the most caring, supportive, funny, and hardworking man, and his legacy will continue to live on forever. Please consider donating to my fundraising goal of $1,500 so CCALS can continue to support patients and families who are affected by ALS.
Description
CCALS offers an innovative and holistic range of services tailored to meet the needs of individuals with ALS and their families. The services we offer are typically not covered by insurance. CCALS works with families in New England, across the United States, and internationally. The organization provides resources including equipment, educational workshops, Medicaid assistance, guidance and awareness in living with ALS, caregiving, and end-of-life issues. All funds raised through the Falmouth Road Race go directly to assisting families with ALS.
