Recovery Without Walls is made of an inspiring group of people that have dedicated themselves to the support of women in recovery so that those women can lead happy and healthy lives. This organization is important to me because I have seen the tragedies that can happen for women who are in addiction and don’t have the support to survive. RWW is a village. They are a village of people who know far more than I could ever claim to. This org offers counseling, job training and skills, mentorship, safe housing and holistic health. They also give women a community to be acknowledged, supported and loved. The women that benefit from RWW go on to be the best they can - whether that is through having families or rebuilding ones, or having successful careers or getting an education. it also means giving them a chance at a healthy and happy life.
