Help Nicole raise money

For participating in The 2023 ASICS Falmouth Road Race

OUR FINISH LINE SAYS ALS DONE!

Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a progressive nervous system disorder affecting nerve cells in the brain and spinal  cord causing a loss of muscle control. It’s also a disorder that turned my family’s world upside down when my dad was diagnosed nearly three years ago. ALS is unpredictable by nature and can leave those affected and their families living in a world of unknowns. The ALS One organization has been there from the beginning to help ease the journey. They provided financial assistance, assistive technology, and a network of resources that improved my dad’s quality of life every step until we lost him on April 4th, 2023. I will be running the Falmouth Road Race again this August to raise money for the ALS One  organization. My goal this year is to raise at least $3,000 to do my part in the fight against ALS. This small contribution is the least I can do to thank them for all they have done for my family and allow them to continue their research and provide support to families like mine. We’ll keep working until ALS is gone for good. We miss you, dad. Love you more.

Description

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page for the 51st running of the Falmouth Road Race! This prestigious event takes place in-person on August 20, 2023 along the coastline streets of beautiful Falmouth, MA!  At-home runners will complete 7 miles in any way of their choosing during the week of August 12-19, 2023.

Your support means the world to me and to all of us and will help to advance critical research at MGH, UMass Medical School, and ALS TDI, while providing essential equipment such as lifts, ramps, wheelchairs and assistive technology devices to individuals currently living with ALS via our care team at Compassionate Care ALS - all incredible partners that make up ALS ONE.

Your  donation is fully tax-deductible, as ALS ONE is a 501c3 non-profit organization (EIN #47-4984263).
