My Story…
Thank you so much for visiting my fundraising page!
I am excited to be running the Falmouth Road Race this August on Team Hospitality Homes! Hospitality Homes is a non-profit organization that provides housing to patients families who need somewhere to stay while seeking essential medical treatment in Boston. The organization hosts people from all over the country and the world, enabling them to receive the care they need – from the medical providers we are so fortunate to have here.
I'm specifically running for Holden, a 7-year-old boy who is battling Severe Aplastic Anemia, a type of bone marrow failure. Holden is dependent on platelet and red blood cell transfusions, and has no immune system to speak of. Holden and his family are placed with a Hospitality Homes host family so he can receive the treatment he needs here in Boston with his family by his side. Holden is also participating in a clinical research study for future treatment options for his condition, which speaks words of the type of person he is – at just 7-years-old. Please pray for Holden's recovery and donate to help his family and others like him.
Additionally, this organization is especially meaningful to me as my cousin, Jessica Mullally, works here and witnesses first-hand the amazing, life-changing impact Hospitality Homes has on patients and their families. Without Hospitality Homes, patients may not be able to afford the life-saving care they so desperately need, or have their loved ones by their side while seeking treatment.
Please consider donating to this important cause! Any small amount is appreciated and goes a long way. Your donation is fully tax-deductible, as Hospitality Homes is a 501c3 non-profit organization.
Thank you so much for your support. Your donation means so much to me and the patients Hospitality Homes serves.
With gratitude, Molly
Holden (7) and his sister, Aspen (3) pictured below. Aspen and Holden's love and support for each other is a bond like no other. Hospitality Homes made sure they could stay together during Holden's treatment.
Description
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page!
I'm so proud to be a member of TEAM HOSPITALITY HOMES in this year's Falmouth Road Race!
Your support means the world to me and will help continue to provide housing for patients and families traveling to Boston for critical medical treatment.
With the prohibitively expensive costs of local hotels- averaging $260 per night- and the lack of sufficient hospital- sponsored housing, many patients struggle with what to do, balancing these and other out-of-pocket expenses with the already high cost of responding to a complex or chronic illness.
Your donation is fully tax-deductible, as Hospitality Homes is a 501c3 non-profit organization.
