My Story…
This year I am raising money for the Bay State Games. Established in 1982 the Bay State Games provide recreation and education based programs for over 6,000 participants annually of all ages and abilities. I will be swimming in the games in June and am raising money for BSG by running the 2023 Falmouth Road Race. I started running 5k's a few years ago and this past fall I was a member of the Waltham High School Cross Country Team. I have found a liking to running distance races. I spend a lot of time with family in Falmouth and have had friends run the race. It is a great atmosphere and I look forward to participating. The money I help raise will help provide education based programs and will contribute college scholarships for a high school ambassador student mentoring program, a college internship program, as well as entry fee assistance programs for participants with financial difficulties, a sports medicine education program and a sportsmanship initiative.
