Help Kimberly raise money

For participating in The 2023 ASICS Falmouth Road Race

My Story…

Hi  Family and Friends!

When I committed to running the Falmouth Road Race last year and raising funds for the Parkinsons Foundation, I did it thinking I wouldn’t do another fundraiser for about 5 years. It’s not easy for me to ask others to donate so I keep it to a minimum.

Those who helped me reach my goal last year had read my 'Why I am helping erase Parkinsons’ story. Well, another year has gone by and the effects of this awful disease have sky-rocketed in my brother-in-law’s  life.   What once was an inconvenience is now a full-blown daily struggle for Jim, and his 24/7 caretaker, my sister, Dayna.  As a matter of fact, she will not be able to join me crossing that finish line this year as all her attention will be on helping her husband.  I will, however, have two of my daughters and both of Jim’s boys joining me… for that, I am so proud!

If you can spare anything again this year, I am eternally grateful. If monetarily, things are tough, your thoughts and prayers to ending this dreadful disease will help, too!

Description

I'm ready to run.

I'm running to raise funds and awareness with the Parkinson's Champions. I'm challenging myself to run the marathon to support the Parkinson’s Foundation.

The Parkinson's Foundation makes life better for people living with Parkinson's disease by improving care and advancing research toward a cure. Studies show that 2.5 hours of weekly exercise along with medication, can significantly improve quality of life for people living with Parkinson's. We run and will continue to run for people with Parkinson's because this disease not a sprint, it’s a marathon. Every dollar counts, thank you for your support!
