My Story…
My Aunt Mary passed away from Metastatic Triple Negative Breast Cancer 5 years ago. Aunt Mary was a loving wife, mother, daughter, and Aunt, who always put her family first. She was was an avid runner, and I recall my first ever "run" being with her at their vacation home in New Hampshire. She always had a passion for helping others, which was evident as she developed Freedom Home Care into a top private home care agency on the North Shore and served as VP. She was also on the Board of Directors of the Boston North Cancer Association for over 10 years. I owe my passion for running to my Aunt -- and she's always there in spirit to push me through to the end of every race. This year, we are running in the Falmouth Road Race on August 23rd to raise funds to go directly to the Mary Barbuzzi Breast Cancer Memorial Scholarship.
The Mary Barbuzzi Breast Cancer Memorial Scholarship
