Support CCALS!
I have been running my whole life, though these days I run slower and fewer miles, but I would run to the moon and back for my sister-in-law Alisa Braverman. I am participating in this running fundraiser as part of team Be Brave Together, with and for Alisa, who received the devastating ALS diagnosis a little over a year ago. We are incredibly grateful for all that Compassionate Care ALS has done for Alisa and others with ALS and their caregivers. It is fitting that "compassionate" is in their name because perhaps most distinctive of what they offer is the depth of care and support they provide. Please read about the organization and consider supporting them or feel free to sign up for the race. Most of us on team Be Brave Together are participating virtually. Thank you all!
Description
CCALS offers an innovative and holistic range of services tailored to meet the needs of individuals with ALS and their families. The services we offer are typically not covered by insurance. CCALS works with families in New England, across the United States, and internationally. The organization provides resources including equipment, educational workshops, Medicaid assistance, guidance and awareness in living with ALS, caregiving, and end-of-life issues. All funds raised through the Falmouth Road Race go directly to assisting families with ALS.
