My Story
This coming August I will be running the Falmouth Road Race to fundraise on behalf of the Vanessa T Marcotte Foundation. The founders of this incredible group are so inspiring to me. They have turned the heartbreaking loss of their friend/family member, Vanessa, into a beautiful and meaningful way to honor her memory: to keep girls and women safe so they can be active out in the world.
I have been running for over 45 years, and want my daughters, and all girls and women, to be able to do the same.

Description
Please support my charity run for the Vanessa T. Marcotte Foundation. The mission of the Foundation is to empower women to live boldly and fearlessly, and to reduce violence, objectification and harassment. The Foundation furthers its mission by providing self-defense training and educational opportunities, and partnering with like-minded organizations to address the root causes of violence against women.
