My Story…

This is the third time I will be running the Falmouth Road Race and once again I am running for the Martha's Vineyard Community Services team which helps so many people on our island in so many areas.   

I am running in honor and memory of my friend Kathy O' Sullivan who was taken from us way too soon in 2020.

Her enthusiasm and love of running, her dedication to the Martha's Vineyard community and this race in particular was infectious.  #runforkathy 

MV Community Services responds to the needs of our community. We have an impact on children, teens, seniors, parents and all who call the Island home. We are there for our neighbors when they need us, regardless of ability to pay. For over 60 years, MVCS has offered affordable childcare, accessible mental health care, disability support services, domestic and sexual violence support and more.

Every day they're finding new and creative ways to meet the ever-changing needs of our Island community. Please dig deep and help this organization provide safety to survivors of domestic violence, support to those struggling to make ends meet, and urgent care to those in crisis. Together, we answer the call for community 24/7.
