I'm Running the Falmouth Road Race for Family Reach!
I am so excited to announce that I am running the 2023 Falmouth Road Race on behalf of Family Reach! This will be my third year running for the team and I look forward to having your support with me as I train over the next two months.
Did you know that 1 in 3 cancer patients are unable to meet their basic needs? As the Director of Impact, I am constantly seeing the financial hardship families with cancer are facing. Over 60% of the families we have worked this year are facing food, housing, utility and transportation insecurity. Can you imagine having to decide between feeding your family OR getting to treatment?! Paying your rent to keep your family home OR taking your medication?! This is the harsh reality that the Family Reach team sees each day.
The incredible team at Family Reach has worked hard to build out programs that work for these families. We specifically focus on helping patients with cancer meet their basic needs through treatment.
But we can't do this alone. This is where YOU come in. By donating, you are helping families get through this challenging time. You are helping to carry out our belief that no family should have to choose between their health and their home.

Description
Family Reach is a national 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to removing the financial barriers standing between a cancer patient and their treatment. Loss of income, out-of-pocket expenses, and socioeconomic factors create disparities in the financial burdens families face. Family Reach delivers financial education, financial planning, resource navigation, and emergency relief funds to patients and caregivers facing a cancer diagnosis so no family has to choose between their health and their home.
