I'm running the 51st ASICS Falmouth Road Race for the Joe Andruzzi Foundation
I will be running the Falmouth Road Race again for a charity close to home, the Joe Andruzzi Foundation. I will be running in honor of my mom, Donna, and everyone battling a cancer diagnosis. The Joe Andruzzi Foundation supports and advocates for families going through cancer treatments. The support this foundation provides is critical and life saving. During cancer treatment, finances can become limited, which creates an additional stressor for patients and their families - the Joe Andruzzi Foundation helps alleviate that.
My mom, an oncology social worker and ovarian cancer warrior, has worked closely with this foundation throughout the years. We have seen first hand the impact this foundation has on many people's lives. I could not be more proud to run for team JAF.
