My Story…
Hi! My name is Raegan Olmsted and I'm 25 years old, from Westbrook, CT and currently work for Connecticut Children's Medical Center.
This year is my first year running for team NEHA and I've been inspired to run this race by and alongside of Waylon Page.
I've known Waylon since he was born and have been lucky enough to watch him grow and overcome some of the toughest obstacles I've ever seen thrown at someone. Waylon suffers from a rare bleeding disorder called Qualitative Platelet Disfunction, which stops his blood from clotting and prevents wounds from healing, he suffers from frequent bloody noses and has spent countless nights in the hospital. He receives blood transfusions, which, as of right now, are his only treatment option. This introduces working platelets to his body to promote clotting and healing. This has required him to give up so many things throughout his life, sports being one of them. Waylon has found love of running and has inspired me to run alongside him at the Falmouth 7 mile road race on August 20th, and help raise money for the New England Hemophilia Association (NEHA).
Donate to help Raegan raise money for The 2023 ASICS Falmouth Road Race’s fundraising campaign.
