Help Clare raise money

For participating in The 2023 ASICS Falmouth Road Race

Our Story

I am running the Falmouth Road Race this year in honor of Caleb, the late son of my co-worker and friend, Raiza Lombardi. I will let her share her and her family's story. I am just the conduit!

All About Caleb Matthew Olivar Lombardi

Our firstborn and beloved Caleb Matthew was born in the early hours of March 2, 2022. He was prenatally diagnosed with a heart condition called Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome wherein the left side of his heart did not fully develop. His condition needed three life-saving surgeries. These surgeries needed to be done at a specialized cardiac facility such as Boston Children’s Hospital (BCH). We live in Central Massachusetts and travelled to BCH for his care. During our time at BCH, Live4Evan offered us affordable housing. It definitely lifted some of our stresses just by being able to have housing close by letting us spend all our time with Caleb. Unfortunately, Caleb passed away due to complications from his heart condition in August of last year. In honor of Caleb’s memory, we would like to pay it forward to this organization that has truly helped us during our difficult time. Their mission is close to heart and I know they will continue to help more families in the future.
