My Story…
Joel and Maggie are so excited to be running the Falmouth Road Race for the 8th and 9th time, respectively!
Athletes Unlimited has played an integral role in Maggie's brother/Joel's brother-in-law Brian's life for decades. AU offers high-quality, accessible recreational programs to individuals of all ages with disabilities. When COVID hit in 2020, AU immediately implemented virtual programming that ranged from zumba to trivia and everything in between. These programs provided much needed routine, stability, connection and joy to Brian and many others during a difficult time. And as in-person programming has resumed over the past year, Brian has found the connections he had forged with fellow athletes, volunteers and staff to be stronger than ever.
