Hello Everyone!

I am so excited to be running this year's Falmouth Road Race for an organization that is very near and dear to my heart. Best Buddies has gifted me the privilege to meet some of the most thoughtful, welcoming, and kind people I could ever hope to know. Throughout these past 10 years, I have served as the president for both my high school and college chapters, and I am striving to do everything I can to stay involved in this amazing organization. I can not quantify all I have gained from being a part of Best Buddies. Every dollar you are able to give is an act towards the promotion and preservation of the idea that every individual is deserving of social connections that recognize and celebrate their inalienable value, regardless of disability status.

Best Buddies is an organization that strives to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals across the globe with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), dedicated to fostering inclusion, friendship, and opportunities for people with IDD.

Acceptance and understanding are far too often not given to individuals with IDD. Best Buddies aims to create a society that values and celebrates the unique abilities of every individual. Through their programs and chapters, they empower individuals with IDD to form genuine friendships, develop leadership skills, and secure jobs that match their talents and interests.

Best Buddies' central belief is that everyone deserves to have a friend, a mentor, and a support system.
