Help Elizabeth raise money

Our son, Wesley, was born with a rare genetic disease that causes epilepsy and global disabilities. Finding a daycare that was able to keep him safe, included and cared for was nearly impossible. Then we learned about the Michael Lisnow Respite Center. Now, Wesley attends the infant/toddler program there one day a week. And I know it is his favorite day of the week. He is so happy every time we go and when he pick him up. The Respite center focuses on what the children can do not what they can't do. They strongly believes that all children deserve love, inclusion, and fun and make sure that their days at Respite are filled with that. The staff in the infant program are the most amazing people. They deeply care for Wesley and our family. The infant/toddler program is 100% funded by donations and is free of charge to families. This is intentional, as the first three years of navigating rare disease and disabilities are extremely overwhelming and expensive. We are beyond grateful for everything the Respite center has given our family, including the amazing community we now belong to. I'm running to give back and help ensure future families of children with disabiltiies have the same opportunity that we do!
