Help Hannah raise money

Over 10 years ago, I lost a wonderful, caring, and selfless person to Alzheimer's. My grandmother, Nina, was truly amazing and made such a great impact on my life.  I cherish all the memories I have with her - from spending time at the Cape, to all the nights she babysat me, to going to her open houses with her and so much more. I'm so fortunate to say that I still remember a lot of our times together. I will forever hold on to the lessons I learned from Nina and the time I spent with her.

Five years ago I said my last goodbye to my grandfather. Papa fought his own battle with dementia, but also with Alzheimer's. He lost his soulmate, Nina, to the disease and he never was quite the same. I will never forget the endless memories I shared with Papa - sleepovers at their condo, yard sale hopping, visiting Papa’s law firm and indulging in Reese’s PB cups, and many more. Papa was one of a kind and still never ceases to keep me from laughing from all his wonderful memories.

They were truly two of the best people with the biggest hearts. 

In honor of Nina and Papa, this August I will be running in the 2023 Falmouth Road Race on Team End ALZ. I've committed to raising awareness and funds to advance the care, support, and research efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association®.

Currently, more than 6 million Americans have Alzheimer's disease and that number is expected to grow to nearly 13 million by 2050. Our future is at risk and we must come together to change the course of this disease.
