Welcome to my 2023 ASICS Falmouth Road Race Page!
For my 50th birthday, I am running the Falmouth Road Race with the NATIONAL BRAIN TUMOR SOCIETY (NBTS) this year.
As many of you are aware, my family and I lost our father to a GBM (glioblastoma multiforme) in November of 2018. He fought courageously throughout his journey. Dad received excellent care from wonderful physicians, surgeons and therapists at Columbia University, RWJ-Barnabas, Valley Hospital and Kessler Rehabilitation. Since his passing, many exciting treatment options are in various stages of development that could revolutionize treatment for patients with GBMs.
NBTS has supported many of these research efforts including novel immunotherapies and anti-cancer vaccines.
Please consider supporting me and the NBTS in honor of my father, Norman Muller, as I join their Gray Nation Endurance team on August 20, 2023 for the Falmouth Road Race.
Running the Falmouth Road Race has always been a bucket-list item of mine. As many of you know, I lived in Falmouth for nearly a decade , working as an emergency physician at Falmouth Hospital. I worked the medical tent at the end of the race for several years but have never run the seven mile race. This year I will be honored to cross the finish line in memory of my wonderful and brave father.
