Help Paul raise money

As many of you know I lost my mother, Reo Todesca, to Squamous Cell Lung Cancer in December of 2017. Just after her passing we established the Reo Todesca Memorial Foundation to honor Reo and keep her memory alive. The foundation also makes donations to help fund cancer research programs that will provide patients and families with prevention, screening, treatments and support so that more lives will be saved with the goal to “Conquer Cancer”.

Unfortunately, my close friend Tom and his family the Gallahue’s (Rooney/Whall) endured the same heartache with the passing of their father Jeff. Before Jeff passed, he and his family created WeBeatCancer, a foundation created to help financially assist cancer patients and their caregivers during their treatment. One of WeBeatCancer’s primary fundraising events is its team of runners for the annual Falmouth Road Race and I fortunately have been afforded the opportunity to join their team this year. 

This year We Beat Cancer is racing for something far more personal than in years past. For those who do not know, 3 year old Kieran Whall (son of Joanne Whall - WeBeatCancer chairwoman) was recently diagnosed with B-Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (BALL) and has been undergoing treatment to fight it ever since. It will be a long battle for Kierna but #teamkieran is rallying around the toughest 3yr old we know and finding ways to support him and their family

So this August, with your support I will be able to run for TEAM KIERAN and help raise money for the Whall family through WeBeatCancer to support our little buddy's long battle and road to recovery!
