My Story…
Hello and welcome to my fundraising page! My name is Morgan Garrabrant and I am a Registered Nurse at BWH. I feel very grateful to be given the opportunity to fundraise for the Radiation Therapy Fund here at Brigham and Women's Hospital. Many of my family members and close friends have received radiation treatment which is why i'm so passionate about supporting the Radiation Therapy Fund. At the young age of 12 years old, my brother Sam was diagnosed with a temporal lobe astrocytoma requiring brain surgery and radiation therapy. As anyone could imagine, this was incredibly frightening for my brother and my family. After receiving surgery, radiation and an immense amount of support and hard work from the medical staff, my brother made a full recovery and is now a healthy and happy young adult. My family and I are very fortunate to have my brother here with us today as many others are not as lucky. Thank you to the Falmouth Road Race for giving the BWH team a platform to fundraise for the Radiation Therapy Fund. All donations go toward the Radiation Therapy Fund and are greatly appreciated.
