My Story
After running the Falmouth Road Race 7 times for myself, I was chosen to run for the Vanessa T Marcotte Foundation. Vanessa Marcotte went for a walk on a summer day and never made it home. The Vanessa T Marcotte Foundation’s mission is to fight for a world where women can live without fear of harassment or violence. As an educator, I teach my children to have a voice and to support a foundation that is fighting for a safer world means so much more.
Description
Please support my charity run for the Vanessa T. Marcotte Foundation. The mission of the Foundation is to empower women to live boldly and fearlessly, and to reduce violence, objectification and harassment. The Foundation furthers its mission by providing self-defense training and educational opportunities, and partnering with like-minded organizations to address the root causes of violence against women.
