I'm running the 51st ASICS Falmouth Road Race for the Joe Andruzzi Foundation
Hi All, my name is Lindsay Broomfield and I will be running the Falmouth road race with the Joe Andruzzi foundation. This will hold a special place in my heart. When I was in the sixth grade (20 years ago!) my mom encouraged me to write an essay about seatbelt safety for a radio contest. I won and the prize was to go to a patriots game. The grand prize to win was to get a ride to school with a patriots player. I won the grand prize and guess who came to my school… Joe Andruzzi. It was such an amazing and memorable day. Fast forward a few years, I ran a flag football fundraiser at my college to raise funds for the Joe Andruzzi foundation. I’m excited to continue on this journey with supporting this wonderful organization that helps cancer patients and their families.
This will be my second Falmouth road race (2019 Team MR8). Just like the first time, it will be in honor of my cousins daughter Laurel Pearl 🐞, say her name!
