I am very excited to be running this years Falmouth Road Race with team Herren for the Herren Project. The Herren Project is an organization that raises money to provide free resources and support for the treatment, recovery and prevention of substance use disorder. I chose to run for the Herren Project in honor of Will Sandvos. Will is my girlfriend’s older brother. Will passed away from addiction in 2015. I am running, alongside my girlfriend, in loving memory of Will.
Many substance abuse resources can be very expensive and many family’s can not afford them. Providing free resources for those that need it can take the financial burden away and get more people the help they need and deserve.
