My Story…
Hi Everybody!
I am running the Falmouth Road Race this year as a member of team empowerHer! EmpowerHer and the Falmouth Road Race both have such a huge place in my heart.
This amazing organization that started in Scituate and connects young girls who have lost their mothers to women mentors who have experienced the same across the country and they are currently expanding to do the same for boys! The money we raise goes toward connecting more boys and girls with mentors and funding retreats for the kids. I’ve had the honor of meeting Cara and listening to her tell her story and the vision she has for empowerHer and was honestly moved to tears by the passion she has for helping kids who have experienced loss.
I truly can’t imagine where I would be in life had I not had Sharon and my amazing group of aunts in my corner. Growing up on Cape and spending my summers in Falmouth, this race is a huge part of my childhood and is some of the happiest memories I have including crossing the finish line twice!
My goal is $1500 so please consider donating, no amount is too small! Or even better consider volunteering yourself!

Our MENTOR PROGRAM matches girls and young women with positive role models from the community to show “loss is survivable.”
